Tidak ada lagi kacamata besar yang mahal karena LG CINEMA 3D hanya perlu kacamata sederhana dan terjangkau untuk menikmati kontent 3D. Efek kedipan dan crosstalk tidak ditemukan pada LW5700.

PC World magazine evaluated CINEMA 3D as "really impressive" and predicted "passive 3D is the way to go" after testing three different 3D sets – an active set from Sharp, a passive set from Vizio and LG’s CINEMA 3D.
